I’m Chris – a versatile producer, journalist, and communications specialist with extensive experience across the arts.

Currently, I produce OommoO, a theatre group founded by LULA.XYZ, which tells the story of a first-generation immigrant who is currently an associate artist at The Pleasance.

I'm available for freelance PR and marketing work, as well as production roles for both television and theatre.

My past work includes public relations for high-profile West End productions, such as Sonia Friedman Productions’ Oklahoma!, as well as accessible theatre companies like Deafinitely Theatre, Lot Productions, and Eclipse Theatre. I also contributed to the production teams at Brighton Dome and Festival in both 2022 and 2023.

On the commercial side of communications, I’ve collaborated with ENP Media to tell compelling stories for brands, arts institutions, and NGOs, including NTT Data UK, Seabed 2030, and The World Bee Project. This involved contributing to news and broadcast agencies like WION News and AFP, where I helped research, coordinate shoots, and craft multimedia content as part of campaigns and internal communications.

Earlier in my career, I managed several artists, including Grammy Award-winning Jamie Cullum, Yakul, Anoushka Lucas, Carmody, The Lottery Winners, and Ferris & Sylvester. I strategised their releases, engaged with fans, created activations, and oversaw marketing and publicity campaigns. I also managed their royalty incomes, negotiated with labels and booking agents, and acted as their primary contact between them and the wider world.

All of this has given me a sharp understanding of storytelling, coupled with the ability to make informed decisions based on data analysis and a wealth of experience working with both small and large organisations.

Feel free to contact me at chrispaulspring@gmail.com.
